On 23-24th November, 2021, an interim partner meeting took place at Kuressaare Nooruse Kool in Kuressaare, Estonia. It was the first on-site meeting for the international project team since the start of the project in October 2020. Meeting participants had two days of intensive and productive discussions and decision making.

The meeting was held at an important stage of the project – right after the last activities at partner schools, dedicated to the internal testing of the Think Inside the Box methodology. Meeting agenda included a workshop on sharing feedback from the testing and collecting ideas for the improvement of the methodology.

Meeting agenda also included a discussion in national teams and presentations of the plans for the external testing of the methodology. This testing stage will involve teachers and students from non-partner schools in order to expand the project’s impact on the target groups and also to collect a wider feedback on the methodology.

In addition to that, partners decided on the structure of the methodological guidelines that will be upgraded in the end of the project with educational videos, tips and recommendations, good practice examples, research tools and reports.

Project management issues were discussed, related to the final TPM, use of the budget, supporting documents and dissemination, risk management.

Meeting agenda was complemented by an introduction to the educational system in Estonia and Saaremaa island as well as the tour around the hosting school.

Each project partner was represented by 2-3 team members. A combination of the project management and project implementation (teachers, material developers) staff allowed us to make necessary decisions related to both the organizational and the contents/methodological part of the project.
